Our Faith Formation program reflects an integrated learning experience comprised of catechetical instruction in: prayer, biblical studies, liturgy, sacramental preparation, service, and the understanding and development of Catholic moral values. Recalling from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:  "Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children in the faith, prayer, and all virtues.  Therefore, our Faith Formation program exists to assist parents in their responsibility of forming their children in the Catholic faith into which they have been baptized.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Church is in full compliance with the Safe Environment Program of the Diocese of Bridgeport. The Diocese offers videos for parents to view and discuss with your children. Parents may opt-out of this component, but you will have to complete and send in the form to our Faith Formation Office by email, text, or mail.  Click HERE for the Diocesan page.
